Tom Ford Whitney Brown Sunglasses
Tom Ford is one of the hottest designers around right now. His line includes beauty products, Menswear, shoes, Women’s and Men’s accessories, fragrances, eyeglasses and of course sunglasses. He’s been a designer for Cathy Hardwick, Perry Ellis, Marc Jacobs and of course Gucci. Tom preferred the more stylish European attitude toward design than the more staid American fashion designs so he moved to Europe and started designing for Gucci in 1990.
His sunglasses lines are bold and sassy. They oversized, curvy, wiggly, active and colorful. Each has been blessed with it’s own moniker such as Tatiana, Whitney, Dakota, Hunter, etc. Sounds like daytime drama characters!
Tom Ford products always includes a combo of cutting edge innovative design as well as the latest technology. His sunglasses designs are eye-catching and considered the brand to wear by many of today’s young actresses. If you see a young woman in the Los Angeles area with an entourage and wearing oversized shades-they’re probably Tom Fords.

The “Whitney” line comes in 2 versions of the “Smoke Lens.” One frame has rose gold at the temple and the other sports the color of gunmetal. The Whitney shown above has a brown gradient lens with the rose gold at the temple.
